Hook Horrors are omnivorous Underdark predators. Though they usually feed on fungus and carrion, they strongly prefer fresh meat and will not hesitate to attack any adventurer that crosses their path. Their heavy shells armor them, and they use their vulture-like beaks and sharp hooked claws to overcome prey and drag them back to their caves to feed.
